Actually most of the news I've watched has been CBC.

Walkable cities. Biking infrastructure. Reliable public transit.

Regularless of of what'd going on in the world right now, these would make our cities far better.

Genuine question, if Trump's tarrifs just make things expensive for Americans why would we put retaliatory tarrifs that effect us?

Do tarrifs really just make things more expensive for the home country? How do they effect the country the tarrifs are imposed on?

If you're programming in assembly, regardless of what it is, you are the biggest nerd of them all. And I have massive fucking respect for you.

  1. As a kid I would play street hockey with my friends although nowadays I don't see kids outside much. Sometimes kids are unlikely and live in an area with no other kids their age around.

  2. Yes. Lobbying by oil and car companies

Honestly how much more expensive would glass mugs/cups be? Like A&W Canada will give you a chilled mug for root beer (and other drinks but the root beer is iconic)

If it's to go then then paper cups are fine. The paper straws are just annoying...

Plants vs. Zombies garden Warfare 2. It used to run on Linux but then they added Easy anti-cheat which broke compatibility.

They don't update the game anymore and they've essentially abandoned the franchise after the flop that was battle for neighborville so I'm not too sad leaving it behind. Was a very fun game though.

If you use a windows computer you could look into Linux. It's a bit complicated to get ahold of if you're not super tech savvy and are super used to Microsoft products but it is doable.

Look into what software, hardware, games, etc that you use your PC for and see if they're Linux compatible. If not, find alternatives that could work for you. (Example, instead of Microsoft office you can try LibreOffice)

For me as an example, I primarily use my PC for gaming. The Proton compatibility layer allows me to play all my games on Linux (except for Garden warfare 2, which won't run due to an incompatible anti-cheat software)

Overall, do your research, find how compatible your own setup is and what distribution is right for you.

For new users, Linux Mint is a popular choice.
