See this is brilliant. The world needs more of this.
Kentucky bluegrass in a desert
But not this
You'd think that's what would make it a sport: traveling rough terrain on foot and trying to hit a ball from weird spots.
Right? Didn't it start in Scotland, a place known for its mountainous terrain? Pretty sure once you get to high enough altitudes trees have trouble growing so meadows are the norm, which makes it all make much more sense. The occasional obstacle tree sounds much more fun though, in my opinion. Plus if you hit it far enough you might whack an Anglo.
It seems a perfectly reasonable game to play on natural fields/plains or perhaps much more exciting on more turbulent terrain, but otherwise yes much agreed.
how good you are at taking a standardised test
Not even that, how good you are at taking a standardised test on a given day. We also know people who are traumatised by poverty or individual adverse life events have lower success rates on these tests, making them even more useless at best and vicious at worst.
"But what about my lawn?"
At least we have Baldur's Gate 3
No comrade you're forgetting the mini game where Trevor repeatedly penetrates Michael.
