I think the damage is done even if he were to backtrack. People will just assume he's backtracking because of money and that's it. Not because of his actual ideals

Can we for all that is good get more Linux support? there isn't any proton drive application for Linux. The excuse? Not enough available linux devs.

I dont have the numbers but who does proton think a good chunk of their customer base is or can be? People who use Linux because they value their privacy.

Its mind boggling.

Its 'coming, ' whatever that means.

Welcome to Linux. You'll learn, and for the better, by using it more. Like picking up anything new there will be difficulties at times, but well worth it. The first positive on your list is good enough reason that makes any difficulties worth surpassing.

I also am a fan of dwm.

The wonderful thing about open source projects is just use the code and move on.

One can modify it as they please if needed, but if the code has no crappy political baggage then so be it.
