Salsa with cream cheese. Looks like vomit, which is actually a plus because you don't have to share!

I also think Reddit can't run ads on nsfw subreddits.

There's a bot that scrapes the data for you. Just paste this into your lemme.ee search bar - https://lemmit.online/c/altcomix, for example.

I figured it out! Remove the exif data and it won't auto rotate.

Solved: Remove exif data from photo before uploading.

It took me about a week to grasp the basics of Lemmy and the fediverse. I enjoy the communities and feel like a lot of the comments are more engaging and useful. Hopefully, those big content creators will make the switch, if they haven't already. Meanwhile, I'll continue to try and do my part to be the change I want to see.

Lovely story and good job on not letting them take advantage of that father and son. Congrats on your career!

400s errors are server side. 500s errors are your side.

Oooh. "Disruptive coloration" sounds like a fun thread or community to create!

Those nestlings are likely not getting chased since eagles and owls hunt from a high vantage point or while flying. The nestlings spotted pattern helps them blend in with their surroundings/foliage.

The Mayo Clinic has a great Q & A on stuff that I've read in scientific articles.

https://newsnetwork.mayoclinic.org/discussion/mayo-clinic-q-and-a-shift-work-and-sleep-problems/

Basically:

  • shift your circadian rhythm
  • expose yourself to bright light before/during your shift (an article mentioned 4 hours were done in their study resulting an increase in alertness).
  • shades during the day when you're done with work
  • darken your room or wear a sleep mask
  • lower core body temp for better sleep
