adaway is a classic hosts based ad blocker, usually have effect for in app ads. for ad in webpage, i suggest firefox with ubo installed

i suggest to use a open source front end (such as newpipe). and use adayaw (a hosts based ad blocker) for the generic ads

you can use profile manager to do what exactly are you doing. without install multiple version of firefox
