Daran ist genau nichts krass. Es ist ein kleiner Raum, der mit Stickstoff gefüllt wird. Keine Magie. Die Kapsel wurde auch entsprechend getestet.

Again. There are also exceptions, so not 100% of all code will be published. Licensing is also an issue, as the law only says the owners are advised to use an internationally recognized license if possible, but it is not mandatory. And it is to be expected to be handled differently for each project.

Now please publish it as a Node.js module and in 3 weeks, it will be in Top 10 most used modules, being used in 90% of Fortune 500 corporations.

It is not the state. Those are regular professionals.

I partially agree that there should be a possibility to kill yourself in an easy way. But don’t forget that very often, this death wish is the cause of a mental illness, which can be treated.

So with Exit, you need to have been diagnosed by a psychiatrist. So it probably takes some time, and that time has to be obviously paid. After that, a second psychiatrist checks the diagnosis for any errors. And the third actor is going to be a regular doctor, double checking for errors. If all goes well, you get the death cocktail. As things can go wrong with that, you should be accompanied by someone experienced. Exit provides this assistance free of charge, as they use donations and membership fees to pay for that.

I cannot tell you about what diseases are successful. Usually, psychological issues are not enough to get the diagnosis you need. You need to be heavily impacted by it and there has to be no cure.

system32 is legacy crap anyways and is not used anymore. Everything important is stored in system64

Am I the only one struggling to understand the uproar against this? What exactly is not good about any privacy-first feature, no matter if it includes some LLM models?

You people, who are complaining, know that „AI“ is nothing but some algorithms? And that those algorithms have been in use for ages for things like monitoring?

The important thing is: your data is not used/consumed. Your data is safe.

And you should know by now there is no „perfect“ service for anyone, unless you build your own. So go ahead. But please shut the door while going, so I don’t hear any of that complaining anymore.

You did a very good job, my friend. I‘m just Swiss by accident and tried to give some more info to whoever it concerns :)

This is misleading. There are exceptions, so not all code will be publicly available. Anything related to national security will most likely stay closed source.
