Will I enjoy Persona 5 if I didn't like all the grinding in Persona 4? I liked the cutscenes, the characters, the gameplay, the music but at some point you just keep doing the same dungeon over and over again and I just quit there.

Bought part 1 and 2 recently. Didn't have a chance to play it yet but heard good things about it.
Teams for Linux crashes too often for my tastes
Did you try the unofficial Flatpak? It's just a wrapper for the web version but it's stable.

For 130€ I would have taken the remarkable 2 as well, unfortunately used offers start at 350€ here. As for new, the PineNote is actually cheaper than the remarkable 2.
I ordered a PineNote last week.
I was thinking about purchasing a remarkable 2 or a Boox Note Air 4C before but in the end I would have to tinker with all of them to get a setup that meets my needs so I just went with the most open variant.
I hope the hardware is up to the task but just reading through the specs it seems pretty similar to the remarkable 2.
Out of interest, what happened to your first remarkable 2 that you had to replace it?
I mean, it's serviceable if all you do is gaming
You answered your own question. For some devices, gaming is all they need to do.
It feels as if Steam is doing everything in its power to keep me from leaving it and punishes me for daring to try
Does it? EmuDeck, Heroic and Lutris integrate directly into Steam. With a single click you can add a shortcut in your Steam library. Same goes for adding any desktop shortcut with a right click.
I'm not sure how they can make it any easier unless somebody like GOG bothers to do some work themselves.
There's two different ways to update modern Linux system, either you apply the updates directly or you wait until the next reboot to apply them.
Fedora KDE allows you to choose which method you want to use when using the software center UI:
I dunno why the software center forces you to reboot for updates
Because it's more stable.
The big drawback of updating immediately is that you might end up with incompatible packages. Any application that is running while an update for it is installed will keep using the old version until the application is restarted or the system is rebooted. The kernel and some system applications never exit, that means that they will keep using the old version until you reboot.
HDCP is such a massive failure that I still wonder why they try again every single time. The only thing it does is impede customers.
If Windows 10 is enough, you can install it offline just fine if you disconnect the internet for the VM before starting the installer.
The solution Valve is seemingly hoping for is that, by disclosing kernel-level anti-cheat on the store page, such a solution becomes poison in the marketplace and developers choose a different one.
Honestly, I wish they were more aggressive with it. Make the warning banners about kernel-level anti-cheat bright red and put it right above the purchase button like the "needs VR headset" warning.
I read that Pathologic 2 is a sequel and a remaster at the same time somehow and you should still play both? Would you recommend starting with 1 or 2 for a newcomer?
