Rough as in hard or as in aged poorly?

Exactly the same thing happened to me in DS1, went down to the skeletons and got my ass handed to me.

Stopped playing until a few years later I was talking with a friend about Dark Souls and told him that I stopped at the skeletons under the graveyard. Binged through the entire game shortly after once he told me I need to take the mountain route.

Just gave Deepseek R1 (32b) a try. Except for the censorship probably the closest to GPT-4 so far. The chain-of-thought output is pretty interesting, sometimes even more useful than the actual response.

Looks pretty good but I'm going to wait for the soundtrack and for the price to come down to normal PC prices.

No Mick Gordon is still seriously disappointing.

Also, I hope they configured their Steam page wrong. The advanced access phase on Steam is 7 months long.

Playing Blasphemous 2 right now. Definitely a lot of QoL improvements over part 1.

Beat two bosses so far, both with great move sets but the second one was a little bit on the easy side.

Also, playing Super Mario Galaxy for the first time on my Deck.

That's the thing I don't like about Postgres either. The performance is significantly better than with MariaDB but Postgres is such a pain for non-enterprise use.

Same with crash recovery, Postgres just can't recover if the WAL is corrupted. MariaDB will happily fix itself but Postgres will just sit there and wait until somebody babysits it.

So you better spin up a second Postgres container, run pg_resetwal, restart the database and terminate any open transactions manually with a 2 page query you hopefully wrote down. Might reindex all tables as well to be sure.

I have a separate "postgres unfuck" script by now.

Weren't there talks about removing the Fedora flatpaks entirely in favor of a regular Flathub access?

Even with support from the compositor, you need support for it in every part of the graphics pipeline.

Currently you can either use Wine with Wayland + Vulkan layers + KDE or gamescope + KDE (or gamescope directly in TTY).

I pretty much only used the fire crackers against the beast-type enemies because it's fairly effective and I was not a big fan of the beasts in the first place.

I used the loaded axe a few times against enemies with shields and the umbrella against the ape but that's about it.
