My thinking too. I don't think we need a Linux phone from stracht but fork android and make it work without the play service. It's the hardware manufacturers that are the problem.

Where is the threshold between supporting "the little guy" to "supporting evil capitalism"? At some point the little guy you support with money might become a super star. You still like his art but would you still support?

Also, only officially browser for MitID is fucking Chrome. Always works with Firefox or libreWolf, though. However, I have contacted MitID two times about issues. They are always referring that I should look at the help page supported OS/browser blah blah. They don't care about the part of the population that doesn't use Chrome. Ironic that the same government now screams and shouts about how we have become too reliant on US big tech... Idiotic tech noob politicians.

It was easier for me than dealing with docker. Everything is local. I did do the same as you but I found that going P2P was easier and less expensive than running a server at home. I used to experiment slot with self hosting but now my primary use is media sharing. I only need my server to run when I'm home, as I only use this media at home. So I have a powering schedule to save power, but that also mean that I would not have access to my bitwarden server 24/7, which I need to.

Svært at få lægperson til at forstå vigtigheden af at dette forslag ikke går igennem. Sædvanlige "har ikke noget at skjule" argument. Forsøger med mine elever men TikTok og Snapchat er vigtigere for dem end retten til privatlivets fred osv. Måske jeg forklarer det på en forkert måde. De der forstår problematikken er dog meget opgivende, hvilket jeg godt kan forstå.
Bitwarden is a great service but with KeePass you are in total control. Made another comment here, check it out. KeePass can also save your F2A keys but I would also recommend Aegis for this. If my KeePass database is compromised, they would also get my F2A keys so I would rather have that in a separate silo.
Check out SyncThing! It's a great tool for syncing files locally across multiple devices and platforms. Data is encrypted.
I went from KeePass->self-hosted bitwarden->KeePass synced with SyncThing. This is the best and easiest solution for password management, imho.
LibreWolf comes with ublock installed by default <3 didn't know the redirect extension!
Not sure if I would recommend LibreWolf to the average user above Firefox. Too many settings to fiddle with e.g. playing DRM material. I don't like to say it but I think most users would uninstall librewolf the moment they try to stream their favorite show and it doesn't work out of the box.
Love LibreWolf. Firefox is in a state of feature creeping. I understand the why, but don't agree with it.
This should be redesigned. The dot-menu has close and bookmark options. There is more than enough to move these to the front. Dot-menu just adds more touch.

Aren't you able to get a dongle for 2fa like in Denmark? We have MitID but you can easily get a dongle so you don't need a phone
