Played it again for like the 10th time on like the 5th system I have it on it and it absolutely holds up. This time around it was the OG SNES on a Steam Deck. The original cartridge, box, instructions and everything are in a box in the basement, but that cartridge has been across the country and back with me every since I bought it through a mail order company that had its ads in EGM.

Chrono Trigger is damn near perfect. The closest I’ve gotten to reliving that game in my adult life is Sea of Stars, which I also highly recommend as it is very clearly inspired by CT.

Buddy’s probably running code he got from GitHub Copilot that is used to do a visualization of a bubble sort for learning purposes.

What is this, a table for ants? Because that’s the average number of ants in an ant colony and it’s nowhere near an impressive amount of rows to be doing any sort of processing on. It wouldn’t be an impressive amount of rows if your rig was an i386DX-33 running off a 5” floppy.

A few theories

a) he didn’t want to be the one to kill his own baby.

b) people didn’t like Trudeau as it was, so him scraping it wouldn’t have meant as much as having his successor scrap it. Now Carney gets a boost from getting the credit and it helps the Liberal Party’s chances in the upcoming election ‘cause Carney can now distinguish himself from his unpopular predecessor.

Yeah alright, wasn’t sure about that bit. In Nova Scotia, grocery stores and convenience stores can sell booze now, but they have to be a certain distance away from an NSLC, so we have some stores dotted around now selling booze. It’s been a while since I lived in Ontario and I left before the grocery store thing. Point being though, there’s ye olde Beer Store to go along with the LCBO and now there’s the other stores too. Did they ever get buck a beer though? I recall that being a very Important Issue when I left Ontario.

I think it’s for any motor vehicle where tipping is likely. See this page with all sorts of pictures and examples, including old packaging.
