Marathoned season 2 of Castlevania Nocturne this weekend. It's pretty solid, a definite upgrade from season 1.

Finished the first season of Creature Commandos. I started off not really liking the first episode but it grew on me quick. As a whole season I think it's quite good.
Awesome! Beat out some major hollywood produced films as well. Good for them.
Started watching Secret Level. It's a bit hit or miss so far but the Warhammer 40k episode was very cool.
Look Back is probably my favourite film. It's quite short, just under 60 minutes so I don't quite know where the cut off is but it was a beautiful and emotional movie.
Creature Commandos has only gotten better for me. I was on the fence about it after the first 2 episodes. I liked the second but not the first. But episodes 3 and 4 have been good and I'm fairly invested now.
Oh man thanks for reminding me of Jentry Chau. I had it on my list to watch when it came out but got sidetracked and forgot about it. I've heard only good things.

Creature Commandos is decent so far. Animation quality is solid and the voice acting is great. The setup of the first episode was boring but the second episode is where it starts to shine. The emotions of it were good. But I found the humour just didn't work for me at all. Can't really say why since I mostly loved The Suicide Squad and GOTG humour.
I will say, it makes me a little hesitant about the Superman movie if this is the writing quality for our introduction into the new DCU.
Still need to watch Zone of Interest but agreed on the Substance. Great movie that stayed with me for a while afterwards.

S2 is an improvement across the board from S1 imo. The pacing especially is a lot better. Far from perfect, but a solid and fun season. I still don't really understand the night creatures but I guess that's a pretty minor part of the show.
I'm also someone who's not as enamored with the first Castlevania show as a lot of people so in general I think season 2 of Nocturne is about on the same level as most of the original show.
