My not pet peeve today is little ones mum has (essentially) given the all good for little one to move to Melbourne with me so that is one gigantic hurdle cleared.

Things may change and we will discuss it more in depth later on, but for now it means I can move ahead with preliminary plans. It's a relief.

My irrational pet peeve today is seeing these cooking videos on social media where the people are just so aggressively doing things. Jerking oven doors open. Very deliberate, slow, deep and yet rough cutting of meat. Throwing seasoning on food like it's schoolies week.

Saltbae would be rolling in his grave.

Had a great time in Melbourne. The Jurassic World exhibition was a lot of fun. Took little one into the city and the National Art Gallery which she enjoyed.

But more importantly, Slurpees were a hit and she is more convinced than ever to move back to Melbourne.

Has anyone been to the Jurassic World Exhibition in Brunswick? Is it any good? Thinking of taking my daughter there tomorrow or Friday.

then again, they still had mine

That's the killer part, isn't it. Nothing stops them from reaching out, but they don't.

That is a way of looking at it. If they cant communicate straight away, it wouldn't be much better down the track I imagine.

things start to hurt less.

Just don't let it be because you are numb or becoming callous or uncaring. That is a hard road to come back from.
