Did performance improve? I couldn’t get it anywhere close to playable on my 2080 super without dropping the quality to potato, so I gave up on it.

I guess they were probably so caught up in making it easy to use they forgot about the best practice use case.

I agree with you - I don’t think it would take much to adapt their system to support both, even if it’s a manual “I know what I’m doing” power user option hidden away somewhere.

Oh my sweet summer child

Right, but what the author is trying to implement is what is generally considered best practice for secure email.

You’re right that what Proton are doing is a compromise that’s reasonable for most people, but the author here is annoyed that there’s no way to turn it off so he can implement best practice E2EE himself.

Ironically he could probably do that with the vast majority of providers that aren’t Proton, so to me it seems like a totally reasonable ask that a self described privacy focused email provider has some way to allow you to implement best practice email security.

My guess is stylistic choice by the musician to make it clear the first letter is an “i”

Honestly by completely ignoring the subject of federation, aside from acknowledging that mastodon’s creators/owners/etc have limited scope to turn evil, they’ve actually done a fairly reasonable job with this one.

Nasty bacon spunk water.

Sainsbury’s posh bacon is awesome, better than m&s, Waitrose, etc.

Yeah it’s definitely got worse.

But leave it on medium heat. Eventually the water will boil off, the fat will render and it’ll start to fry, then you’ll be able to brown it. Can take a while.

The sound will change a bit to a crackling/frying sound when it’s got to that point.

Yeah I think r/bestof was probably one of the weaker “best of” subreddits tbh.

Fair enough. Then I agree wholeheartedly!

It’s a fine line though - the “Best Of” subreddits are meta and some of the best on the site (eg BoLA and BoRU)

I mean the article isn’t about, nor does it mention fat acceptance. I didn’t mention fat acceptance. Only OP did. I don’t think anyone apart from him and perhaps you thinks anyone is celebrating people being overweight. Maybe some people do that but I’m pretty sure most people think of them as (and I’ve already called them) “crazies”. This article certainly isn’t doing that - as far as I can tell it’s more about the bmi scale being a bit useless.

The only point I’m making is it seems like OP just wants to hate on fat people (and if that isn’t dehumanising idk what is), my point is just that doesn’t solve anything, and you seem to agree with that much. Nobody’s talking about “fat acceptance” except you two.
