There already are, I'm not really worried about them in specific, and we know a good few farmers through my wife.

I'm just not growing them myself currently :)

Edit: The nearby plantings done by a neighbor who has since moved set up apple trees, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries. He had been in the area for about 20 years, so he has done basic tending and let them thrive over the years.

At this point they are basically a staple in the community

First off, glad to see the farming cross post or I wouldn't have seen this comm so I could sub!

We don't do much fruit right now, but I'm hoping to change that next year. My favorite not-a-fruit-thats-easy would probably be carrots or lettuce.

From previous efforts, I'd probably say strawberries. We had moved, so haven't done strawberries in a few years, but hoping to get some property for us to live/farm over the next year and strawberries will definitely be on the list for us.

Edit: We do a community garden right now, the lack of fruit is due to some of the rules of the garden.

Only supply side jesus is permitted within the GOP.

And supply side jesus is cool with these depictions.

Pretty much, yeah.

Usually the only things loaded are FreeDOS and instructions for how to install an OS (and the laptop's instructions/links to them online).

Definitely dont bother with buying a pi if you've got other hardware.

I have one physical (a 3b I had no use for anymore), and two running as containers. The containers do most of the heavy lifting, since they are so much faster than a pi they respond far faster, but the physical is nice for when I take down the clusters for maintenance (or when I lose power, the clusters shut down after about 3 minutes, the pi will keep going for a while on UPS).

A bunch of companies had or have an agreement with MS not to sell hardware without an OS, FreeDOS was the workaround, basically loaded to get wiped.

MSI did it for sure, same with HP and I think Asus. Not sure how many still do it though. I haven't bought premade new (including laptops) in quite some time.

You've decided to interpret my comment in your own way.

There are many options for travel that would not require a car, if the infrastructure were in place, that would then allow people needing a space for a medical reason to have parking available.

No, you absolutely should not have to pay for parking either when you're there for a medical reason.

I disagree...

You shouldn't have to pay for parking either.

Ive got 16gb in the work-provided machine... And I can safely say that more than half is just autostart crap.

Since I only use it for messaging/email, I don't much care tbh. Just kind of a fun to note for the laughs though.

Thats because of office I believe, since its using edge underneath.

Ah, the edgewebview2 crash. So consistent, so destructive.

This is why I'm glad I mostly just use it for teams, everything else is pretty much ssh from my main workstation (debian).

Oh definitely. Its shut down every day, has a dedicated dock in the home office, and I open it at 9am.

Thats when I get my coffee and snack. Its just surprising how much longer I can sit and sip before starting now.
