The context of the post is 2 days ago, in a post about Lemmy dev being in need of donations.
Many people have expressed their lack of interest in supporting the devs, due to transphobia and other issues.
So its not so much drama from 9 months ago (reference/link text of post) as it is the continuation as seen in a post 2 days ago (image shown in this post).
In a different area definitely, at this point these have several caretakers, which is part of the plan post-move. The back there will be right by some parks, so I'm going to line the whole area with a few varieties. Thought about maybe doing some of those dwarf trees for easy reach for folks, but I haven't seen them in the wild (lol) so I don't have experience with them, but I'm going to try a few and see how it goes.
Personally I won't even download it, I even deleted music ive had for years because the artist went maga. And let my daughter use the CD in some arts and crafts, because I can't listen to it anymore.
That said, yeah, I'd prefer to download over buying if I didnt want the company or artist to get the money for it.
