McD Cheeseburgers are those tiny ones, right? I don't remember leaving there under €12,- for what I'd consider a (not particularly 'large') meal.

Gender alignment? Gender alignment vs biological/birth sex?

I have a related one - I'm kinda continously on the lookout for a refreshing (evening) drink especially during hot weather.

So far, I haven't found one that doesn't contain at least one of:

  • (added) sugar
  • caffeine
  • alcohol

Or a combination of those.

On the other end of that scale, I do quite like White Russians. The Dude says hi.

Why is that update to 0.0.35 (from my locally installed 0.0.34) not shown to me in Droid-ify? When I click on Jerboa in the installed list, it shows up in the list of versions at the bottom. The global list of Updates in Droid-ify is empty, however. Clicking/Spamming the "sync" button there does not help.

Aah, thank you! This clarifies things greatly for me.

I don't have a ready-to-run solution for you, but I see you already dug quite into that rabbit hole. Google-fu turned up this and this - maybe those are good starting points to have.

Besides lots of things already mentioned, sometimes I'm asked to support software under Windows that uses configuration files (and possibly versioned, self-contained releases - think stuff akin to running Apache Tomcat under Windows).

For those, I love using TortoiseGit to keep a handle on the 'mess' - it's out of the way in general, but I can see at one glance when stuff's been touched, keep a very convevient history etc.

I feel you. I'm quite in that exact place myself.

"When Two Tribes Go To War"

... and there's another scene/soundtrack starting to play in my head whenever I hear such things.

It's a shame.

The way I understand it, the notification object (given to the browser to perform the desktop n notification) needs a unique tag property. Multiple ones with the same tag are only shown once, then.

I'll take this to the lemmy-ui project.
