Are they not owned by Intuit?

See a therapist if you can, preferably one who has worked with lgbtq.

I'm not saying anything is wrong with how you're feeling but they can help you digest all the emotions and help settle your mind.

Microsoft is going to be the new Google when it comes to abandoning projects. I'm upset that my headset will soon be a paper weight.

I can even still use my original ancient vive just fine but rip my G2.

But also, we should have definitive answers to those questions before deciding not to prosecute, shouldn’t we?

Actually not really. There has to be clear evidence of a crime. A bunch of open questions works against prosecuting the case. Remember this would probably eventually end up in a jury trail and you need evidence beyond a reasonable doubt.

75 in a 25 is insane and negligent homicide in my opinion but it gets tricky since it was a cop with lights and sirens on.

I felt pretty safe when I was there. I had no issues. I'm a white guy from NYC for some context and I didn't feel unsafe at all. I was in El Poblado for the most part.

I visited to meet a few of my World of Warcraft guild mates in person and eat a ton of Colombian food. So probably not your typical tourist experience in Medellin.

Only wish my Spanish was better... I don't speak much and that was a challenge.

I just got back from a trip to Medellin and was surprised how big the bike scene was. Beautiful city.

Two most important things

  1. Don't leave your bike anywhere overnight.
  2. Don't make a pattern of leaving it locked up in the same place for long periods of time.

A nice lock will help a little bit but tbh if they're determined then they will get it if you slip up and allow them the time.

Air Canada sucks. I avoid them as much as possible.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago

Why? The government constantly bails them out. They literally can't fail.

I wouldn't call it completely pointless. But I also wouldn't call it a success. Taliban are in power but they don't have interest in terrorizing the west (for now at least...) which at least is some sort of win. Other organizations with aspiration to attack the west were severely degraded in the war like al qaeda.

There is a very long and informative wiki page about that and the Afghanistan war invite you to read. They were obliterated very early in the war.

As for a less smart ass response. They won't ever be "truly" gone. Same as ISIS. But we effectively beheaded the organization and prevented it from mounting any sort of serious attacks on the US and allies for the foreseeable future.

Modern day al qaeda is completely different from the organization of 2001 and a shell of its former self.

Afghanistan was in response to 9/11 and where nato allies helped...

Completely different war.
