Streaming sites go down all the time and the quality is usually terrible. Downloading the same stuff every time you want to watch it is just wasting the seeders bandwidth.

If you need IPv6, you can get a free tunnel from Hurricane Electric. They will give you a /48 if you request it. I used it for years since my old ISP didn't have IPv6. I am close to one of their servers, so the latency was very low.

How many seconds at that speed until it throttles though?

Double that and you could probably even run a GUI.

The software that can legally play a UHD bluray doesn't even work with modern CPUs since it requires the SGX instructions. You have to get a specific drive that's not made anymore, flash it with custom firmware and rip the movie with MakeMKV.

I prefer to use FOSS software. There is a risk of getting malware from pirated software. Even if there is no malware, commercial software usually has lots of tracking and telemetry anyways.

Battery usage depends a lot on what kind of websites you're browsing. Simple, static sites don't use much. Javascript heavy sites can drain the battery fast, especially if a script is misbehaving. Most sites these days have loads of javascript.

It looks like it's been using a lot of power in the background. You can try setting Android to restrict the background power usage for Firefox.

I unplug the switching power supplies when I'm not using them because I don't want to listen to the RFI that they produce.
