Oceans is probably my favorite in this vein. It's an engine/deck builder where you combine traits to evolve new species to compete or symbiote your way to victory. The second half of the game ramps up dramatically with bigger powers and bigger stakes. The whole time it's a delicate balancing act and at no time are so committed to one strategy that you can't change course.

Or look at the deforestation of the Amazon rainforest. That all done to produce more farmland. So, if we were using or land more efficiently we wouldn't be carving up the "lungs of the world"
I enjoyed the couple episodes of DS9 where you meet Sisco's dad back on earth running a restaurant.
But he's can't escape it. He's still being Pierce...
Capitalism didn't appear over night. It took several attempts and iterations to get it anywhere near what it is today. Most modern theories on the implementation of Marxism focus less on centralized government authority and more on democracy in the work place, and eliminating 3rd party shareholders' control. Much of the struggle with implementation of this, is that the existing financial structures aren't set up to handle this type of thing well.
In Shadowrun the intro scenario was a shoot out at a convenience store. A simple one encounter with minimal story to introduce the mechanics. They called it a food fight, and it is how I introduce new plays to pretty much any system now. DnD: a tavern brawl breaks out...
Premades are great for instant play, but if they want to get more invested, the food fight is also a great way for them to get to know their class mechanics too.
Not to defend this POS, but they said employment up 40-50% (from current), not up to 40-50%.
Put in a sand pit somewhere you are ok with them shitting. Training domesticated cats is an undertaking that in my limited experience comes down to giving them an option they'd prefer over their current behavior. Trying to dissuade a feral cat from shitting where they please humanely seems like a loosing battle.
Wow they really worked hard in both the paper and the article to make that as boring to read as possible. This is important, and while not the first were hearing of it. The way it's written no one who has already heard the threat will ever read it.
The things I of when I think solarpunk fashion is almost antithetical to modern fashion. I think of overalls, and practical garden wear (but that is probably my own limitation). To me the cool advances in fashion that fit in conceptually are almost invisible, they're about eco/bio-materials, production, and durability, which are largely form agnostic. There are probably a number of artists who have envisioned clothing to adapt to a warmer climate.
The US has also been passing laws to clamp down on protesting in the wake of the Dakota Access, BLM, and Stop Cop City protests.
The Drilled podcast is doing a season about the global legislative shift now.
