The beep multimeters make when in continuity mode. It is a way to test that 2 points are electrically connected with little/no resistance. If they are connected the multimeter will emit a continuous beep. If there is no beep than either the points aren't connected or there is a resistor or something else preventing the connection. The amount is resistance required to prevent a connection (measured in ohms) tends to be possible to set on the multimeter.

This is probably just my general dislike of chained ternary operators, but why not just write this out the "long" way to make intention clearer?

Plus side of actual useful application of LLM/AI is the data is usually a small subset of data, and it would have to be tested anyways since it would have to be used in the real world. I think the main use of LLM/AI in mainstream is using it on small datasets like that instead of the race for the holy grail of "General" AI.

It's almost like there's more acceptance that mental health is real health, but no it's the evil checks notes sunscreen that's making me sad. Good that he is planning on not chasing the dragon of continual growth. I feel that there are benefits to higher production quality and what not, but there is a point where you should roughly stick with it once you're happy with it.
