Yeah no doubt, a RAID would be more effective. But still a 256TB SSD is absolutely insane when you think about it, compared to where technology was 10 or 20 years ago.

Crazy to think it was only about fifteen years ago the small Data-storage server reseller I worked for was selling their own in-house server racks - a whole 52U rack filled with Supermicro drive bays to store a petabyte of data was $300k and that was a steal of a deal at the time.

Sure, that system was redundant and this is a single pbSSD, but still crazy to see how fast things are evolving

Wow, who could have ever seen that coming. What's surprising is that it's being reported..... must be a desperate effort to call people to action to support their nation?

Wrong engine block. This was the 2.0 Theta II RS T-MPi used in the Genesis Coupe. That engine has a timing chain, rated to last the lifespan of the engine - and it sure as hell did because it took the whole engine with it! haha this was a garbage engine, they discontinued it years ago.

Totally intentional, it's become natural to spell it that way ;-)

Cool, I won't use any product Elno is attached to - I think most of us have learned that lesson

My partner's junk Hyundai Genesis that she loved died - the engine's timing belt failed and destroyed the whole engine in the process. No new crate engines exist for sale so It was either spend $7500 on a used engine and hope it'll last longer, or buy something else - it sucks as it was terrible timing all around.

Quake itself was ok. The multiplayer version was fun. But the real fun started when people began modding the game. The original Team Fortress was actually a free mod for Quake which I'm pretty sure quickly became the most popular instance of the game for online play.

Funny random tidbit, I actually remember playing the game with one dude who specifically had to brag about having a high powered 1ghz processor as his username in the game (something like 1gigahertz or something cheesy like that). Pretty sure back then I was still rocking a 700mhz AMD Athlon Thunderbird processor.

Has the location been specified? I haven't seen any news indicating that the location was specifically mentioned. But I'm sure it's just my sources leaving out that tidbit.

Interesting, so would you say the ratios were similar between streaming and non-streaming networks?

I have reddit blocked at the router level so I can't view anything on that site (still boycotting the company lol)

Yep, I have a cheap old Honda with low miles that will last me forever with proper care/maintenance. Because I leave it in the garage and bicycle everywhere I need on a daily basis. My bicycle gets more miles than my honda on an annual basis. Burn calories, stay in shape, save gas money and wear & tear on my vehicle seems like a win-win in my book.

I also specifically found a home within biking distance of everything I need on a daily basis so I rarely need to drive to get where I want to go
