This lends evidence to my hypothesis that being a republican really is a mental illness.

I had to search for his name, and wow what a doozy: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/02/18/us/W-McCall-Calhoun-Jr-georgia-capitol-riot.html

It's a long read but here's a preview:

Over the past three decades, as the state around him turned ever more resolutely Republican, W. McCall Calhoun Jr. remained an outspoken and unwavering liberal. He gave money to Democrats, ran for office as a Democrat and zealously championed Democratic policies in social circles that were far from sympathetic. If friends admitted they voted for Donald J. Trump, his reaction could be blistering.
“He was hard core, there’s no doubt about it,” said Dr. Michael Busman, a physician who has known Mr. Calhoun for years. “He wouldn’t even want to talk to you if you were Republican.”
But last year, as the progressive movement in Georgia was on the cusp of historic electoral triumph, Mr. Calhoun, a small-town lawyer whose family had long roots in the state, suddenly abandoned the Democrats. And not only that, he pledged to kill them.

Hahaha, true, you could fit maybe a few jpg photos on a floppy

Yep, precisely. They want to be in control. And Trump has proven time and time again he's loyal to nobody but himself. That makes him a wildcard that cannot be trusted

First thought that went through my mind as well lol

I honestly believe the GOP strategy is to b!tch and moan claiming he's innocent while secretly allowing things to proceed which will ultimately put him behind bars. Then they hope to tell America "Trump is innocent, vote for our candidate and we'll set him free!" in an effort to steamroll the 2024 election.

And of course the gullible chucklef*cks will vote for the GOP believing that Trump really is innocent and that the GOP will free him (which I doubt they'll actually do once he's gone and out of the way)

I was curious about that 6.5 mile claim, and you are correct - while large chunks were thrown thousands of feet away, the plume of concrete dust expanded 6.5 miles away.

Pretty sure it was intentional. I can't find it now but there was a decision by Elno to not add the water systems to the launch pad which would have prevented the pad from being destroyed. They knew it would get damaged so decided not to mitigate the problem.

This is intentional - they're trying to lay the groundwork for Trump's Jan6 indictment defense: He was simply taking the advice of his lawyer in good faith that he believed he had actually won the election.

What they don't realize is that this is a trap by Jack Smith - because that enables the prosecutors to look into Trumps communications with his lawyers - https://statuskuo.substack.com/p/jack-smith-has-set-a-trap-for-trump?sd=pf

I mean there is a small percentage of people who genuinely enjoy the rewarding work they do and look forward to waking up every morning to embrace the day.

But I do agree - sitting around getting drunk and high watching television all day long gets old REAL quick.
