Needing to project an image of strength is more of a right-winger thing. I'm not going to fault other leftists for being openly emotional. Though if you're saying that it clashes with the whole "we're going to put you up against the wall" thing, then yeah. It's the latter that I take issue with, not the former.

Sometimes people want to have discussions that aren't centered on men. There's nothing wrong with that, and it'd be good if we men could actually be cool about it. OP specifically says that men aren't excluded, but this discussion is not about our experiences, and we need to respect that.
