The buoycam was such a good view. That was one toasty ship coming home.
On to orbital Starlink deployment? This is also huge for the other companies working on flat satellite buses (K2, Rocketlab, York...)
Yep
Ariya Jr meets Prius backside?
That article has some alright high level descriptions, but it almost feels too high level to differentiate between any of them. I think it would at least benefit from some pictures. The Apollo vs Orion comparison definitely needs some more info given the Artemis 1 heat shield anomalies. Starship vs Shuttle attachment and patterning would be interesting to talk a bit about refurbishment.
GMC buyers should pay attention to make sure they can haul their mom around
Nah he probably has a Camelbak and some granola bars, he'll be fine up there.
RIP Dim Todd
Ok but sticking New Shepherd type capsules on the Falcon Heavy side boosters instead of nose cones would be awesome

Why would Firefly or Japan want to launch Alpha there?
For Japan, H3 is picking up the pace, and if KAIROS or Epsilon S start launching, then that covers anything Alpha can do.
For Firefly, a quieter spaceport sounds good, but it's on the other side of the planet where they have 0 presence and it sounds like an ITAR nightmare. Maybe it won't be terrible if they figure out a portable, secure, containerized launch setup. And it would make for a good headline for the stock bros...
So Angara is getting an actual cadence now. 3rd launch of the Angara platform this year, 6th success in a row over 3 years. After the 2014-2020 drought and multiple failures, I really thought this thing was DOA.
They mostly don't have gas stations, either. Some of the national parks out west are super remote. "No services next 100 miles" type remote. You can't expect driving through the middle of nowhere to be a walk in the park.
Nothing of value was lost
