Jesus fucking Christ, how hard is it to check a firearm to make sure it ain't loaded?? It's like the first thing they teach you in a basic firearms course.

Honestly it was just the latter; idk about Bolivia's politics at all, but if Israel is saying anyone who condemns their actions is pro-Hamas then I say it's ridiculous unless they have actual proof that shows they're actively supporting them

we're a family, sonny!

Stupid people can't make that differentiation. And there are lots of stupid people whenever something like this happens.

COVID: All Asian people were spreading the disease

9/11: Anti-muslim attacks

Hell, there was a restaurant in DC that had the name, "Russian" in it and it was vandalized when Russia first invaded Ukraine.

Mint was always such a pain to use, it literally felt like a better version of spreadsheets at times.

I haven't used budgeting tools recently, but there was one called Emma I think, they're based out of the UK. And I think there was one called TrueBill though I never used them myself.

EDIT: okay so TrueBill got acquired and are now 'Rocket Money'

"Twitter owner calls Facebook founder a ‘cuck’ as rancour grows over launch of Threads, a competitor to Musk’s network"

Man I thought this was The Onion at first

Ah yes more big bank shenanigans....

I know there are services like Delete Me, but I'm curious if it's even worth it at all or if it's just an easy way for a company to make some quick bucks. Anyone use these services before?

So far I'm liking the base game a lot, but I wasn't sure if the DLCs add a whole lot more to the game that make it more enjoyable than it is already or if it's merely extra content for hardcore fans. Any thoughts?

For me I usually prefer to have a drum track laid out so I can really try and nail the groove. A click isn't something I really care for, but it is nice to have in the background.

Most recently, I ended up recording the bass before the drummer laid his tracks and I only had the guitar part and a click to go off of. The end product just sounds...messy. I think that we did this backwards, but what do you guys think is the best "order" when it comes to recording bass?

I...didn't think windows 12 was actually a thing but here we are?

"By cryptographically locking an exchange rate forward-contracts into a decentralized, blockchain-based escrow structure could protect an exporter and an importer from currency volatility over the timeframe of their trade deal without either party having to trust the other, or anyone else, to hold the funds. Voilà, no need for the dollar to sit in the middle.

Under this system, a Brazilian farmer could agree to provide a Chinese hoggery with soymeal feed for its pigs at a real-to-renminbi exchange rate fixed at signing, knowing that a smart contract would automatically deliver those funds upon arrival of the shipment in Shanghai. With the right oracles in place, all this would happen peer-to-peer without either side having to trust the other’s promise to deliver the funds or the goods.

As such, they could eschew the grossly inefficient current system in which a U.S.-regulated correspondent bank typically acts as the trusted third party in the deal, first exchanging the importer’s renminbi into dollars and then converting them into reals for the Brazilian exporter. If such arrangements proliferated, I have argued, it would reduce global trade-related demand for dollars and, by extension, diminish investment in dollar reserve assets such as U.S. government bonds."

I thought this was a very interesting article, especially this bit here. What do people think?
