Why is there a legend saying June showing one colour, but then having a bunch of different colours on the map itself, all with June dates?

Christian pop music is a pretty bizarre phenomenon, which apparently is pretty big in the US for obvious reasons.

To be fair the mosaic in the OP is not connected to the epitaphs quoted. The mosaic functions basically like a sign on the gate announcing the place is guarded by watchdogs does today. Chaindogs mostly did not lead very enviable lives, and were probably not considered such a member of the family as the epitaphs convey.

It is an unfortunate fact that even though we have these rare pieces of evidence of human empathy and bonding with animals, the lot of the majority of animals falling into the hands of humans throughout history has not be very good.

The Odyssey is not the oldest surviving literature by far. We have much older Mesopotamian and Egyptian literature for example.

But it is indeed old.

I seem to remember an article saying that the appendix is used by the body to store gut bacteria, as a reserve in case the gut bacteria in the intestines are killed off by disease or something similar.

This whole community seems to be purposefully created just to peddle Russian disinformation.

There is a difference between being in touch with your ancestry to claiming you are literally a nationality which you aren't. Americans always say "I'm Irish, Italian etc. etc." and proceeds to be the ultimate arbiter of what is real Irish, Italian etc., when in reality they had some great-grandparents in of their family tree branches who may have been of that nationality.

By all means be interested in your ancestry, study the archives, learn about your distant family, but it does not suddenly make you Irish, Italian etc., you are American.

No, there was a celebration planned, but no parade. That was only added to the celebration a couple of months ago on Trump's personal orders.
