Ok, we can restate it. If your religion leads you to hate, you aren’t on the side of good, you’re on the side of bad?

In Australia they’re now called ‘intentional communities’. That might help with searching. Some are religious but some are not. Quite a few are just science/sustainability based.

Man knows his fallacies! Excellent. This bodes well for interesting discussion!

I, too, am interested in having serious good faith discussions, and will not become shrill if you present nuanced views, or criticism of mine.

Love the image. Can only imagine the prompts… “evil lizard men make stupid amounts of money selling utter shit.”?

Me fast forwarding through the underwater stuff so I don’t have to hold my breath. Might get the books for the same reason.

Mediawatch showed something disturbing: Murdoch papers have been actively campaigning for the bill for the last six months. I wonder why? https://www.abc.net.au/mediawatch/episodes/teens/104644976

I think chat GPT wrote this article.

I understand what pon farr is, but where is the photo from? Which is the original? When was it taken and why? Is the original negative/print held by a particular organisation?

“Check surroundings for safety”. Fuck you, man.

Functional Neurological Disorder aka Dissociative neurological symptom disorder aka Conversion Disorder?

The latter has the following diagnostic criteria in DSM V:

  1. One or more symptoms of altered voluntary motor or sensory function.
  2. Clinical findings can provide evidence of incompatibility between the symptom and recognized neurological or medical conditions.
  3. Another medical or mental disorder does not better explain the symptom or deficit.
  4. The symptom or deficit results in clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other vital areas of functioning or warrants medical evaluation.

We don’t seem to have a Lemmy community for any of these yet? True? Maybe we need to get together on ‘Diagnoses of exclusion’?
