Grocery prices would not be something PP is fixing. His campaign manager is in bed with Loblaws. They are the biggest offenders on the gouging.

I have the feeling that’s what Carney is doing. Keep playing along, dragging it out. While making deals with the rest of the world.

Yeah sounds like his style is very different to Trudeau. I like it. MPs already moaning that he has no patience for half assing things and dragging feet. I think he’ll keep them busier than they have ever been. Good. We need to move and fast.

Not yet. Lots of Europeans hadn’t gotten a real threat (apart from Denmark) yet. But the 50% tariffs are on the horizon and that’ll bring more people on board. It’s less groceries for them (very little US there). So not as daily and in the face as it is here.

Do you have a link? I tried a couple of Canadian brands but meh. The only ones I really like are from Lush.

Hm not sure. Maybe 10 years ago? They were still a coop at that time. I had already picked the shoes and just wanted to try them on to make sure they fit. They lost a guaranteed sale that day. I tried them on there and bought them elsewhere online. And never returned.

Oh yeah I have several. I love them. Even in the city.
