Those things matter to you and me but we're in the minority. As long as Johnny Gamer and Grandma Facebooker can still do their preferred activities in Windows there's a close to zero percent chance they'll put the effort into making the switch.

Sadly, I agree. I'm at the point now where as long as I'm not trying to game I can thrive on Linux. But even then I spend way more time than necessary getting things to work that do so out of the box on Windows. We have a long way to go before legacy apps is the only reason to run it.

Isn't that Blue Sky?

Thanks for this. I've been using it for almost 2 weeks and aside from having to manually tell Lasts/AntennaPod to sync it's been a seamless replacement for pocket casts. Well, once I figure out how to get the f-droid version of AntennaPod to play nice with Android auto (a problem I only came across yesterday)

That's again for the recommendation.

Can we get an option to share or copy URL from an image? Right now if I want to send an image to my wife my options seem to be:

  1. Save the image locally then send that to her
  2. Open the image in the external browser then copy the URL and send that to her

For reference, this is the three dot menu in Connect that I got used to using:

I came across this app from a humblebrag post on one of the android communities where someone was asking about battery optimization.

I must admit this app is slick and is jockeying for the top spot in my Lemmy app preferences.

I do have a tiiiiny request for post views though. Specifically the option to have the image at the end.

My preferred layout would effectively be image in the middle. That is, the post title at the top, then the image/media, and the comment/upvote indicators at the bottom. Would it be possible to implement this? It's a very minor annoyance but keeps tripping me up.

The confusing part is you seeing something happen at cloudflare. For reference, this is how all of mine are set up:

site.domain.tld {
	reverse_proxy subsite.domain.tld:1234
	tls {
		dns cloudflare "{env.CF_API_TOKEN}"
	}
}

The only difference being the quoted variable, but since you see it hitting cloudflare I would be surprised if that was the issue.

Do you have Caddy installed directly or are you using docker?

Any chance you also listen to them on PC? I'm looking to move away from Pocket Casts to Antennapod but haven't looked into desktop players yet (web/win&lin)

I've been with Fastmail for about a year and a half now. The number of complaints in their subreddit about outages had me a little worried but I've never once missed out on an important email or anything like that.

My literal only complaint is lack of offline viewing for messages but I just run K-9 and shit's solid.

This is what I do on ipt, my ratio is insane because the 24/7 seeding + redeeming points. Def the way to go if you can swing it.
