Its a common misconception, prices are never based on cost, its what people are willing to pay. Now, what people are willing to pay can be influenced by perceived costs, but thats pretty artificial too. The prices at a restaurant for example vary pretty wildly in profit margins. Pretty famously, sodas cost cents to make, but people are willing to pay orders of magnitude more.
Id love to hear him scientifically define a loser. Specific metrics with units and shit.

They both always are. Companies make up the prices, and price increases. Predicting how much folks are willing to pay.

I see either winning as moving further away from the future I want. Worsening environmental health, population health, financial health. I assume you see it as Trump regressing us, and Biden progresses us but not as fast as people would like, but I see it as Biden also regressing us, just not as fast as Trump. I cant support either of them.

Its like watching a train speeding towards a barrier, steadily accelerating faster and faster, full throttle, and saying well it takes time to come to a full stop. No brakes applied, no taking the foot off the gas. Im not even accusing him of doing nothing, he's actively worsening climate change.
