It's not that surprising. Their politics are mostly fine. They are just assholes.

I think entirely phonetically so struggle with spelling. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a word for this but I don't know it. Some words like woman vs women really mess with me, because at least in my accent, the ending of the word doesn't change, its the beginning of the word (which doesn't change spelling). As a consequence I get them mixed up all the time in text. I switched to using female/male so I could consistently get the spelling right. Its extremely annoying that some redpill bullshit or w/e then co-opted the use of the word in some dehumanizing way.

Archer withheld a cure for an entire species because Phlox convinced him it was the natural course of things. (Valakians) Janeway goes back in time to get her ship home with more crew alive, altering history in who knows what ways for the entire galaxy.

Archer and Janeway have done some batshit stuff too.

How rich you are on 100k really depends on where you live.

I never fully got it as a twitter user, but it has something to do with the ratio of likes I believe. The one person has hundreds where the other has 10s of thousands.

I think if you ignore its an adaptation, its fine. It murders the source material in many ways. That doesn't bother me much because I think the foundation books told faithfully would have made for a very dry tv series.

Half the time any given tolerance isn't actually important(to the degree they've been marked) and are just some standard tolerance placeholder the engineer has put down. Of course, sometimes they are very tight, maybe even tighter than marked. When stuff is integrated it will be worked out.

I can't remember the News organization that did the reporting, but CSAM content grew a LOT during the pandemic, and learning of this, a news agency wanted to look into it, see how easy it was to find, they tried just doing some basic searches (the search terms for which they didn't reveal) in major search engines, and turned up a lot of content, specifically in Bing I think off the top of my head. They nearly got in trouble with the FBI because of it. So yeah, if you go looking for it, apparently shockingly easy to come across.
