Bing and Bing based searches have also gotten worse. The study in question actually says they preform worse than google. Its all Goodhart's law in action.

Soda spoon isn't that weird, think of like a float or parfait for which you'd need a really long handle potentially to get to the bottom of a glass. No idea wtf a salad spoon is though.

How much traveling have you done? I'm Canadian and don't want to join America or something, and there are meaningful differences. But as someone that's traveled a decent amount, we are way more similar than different. Even England and Australia feel way more alien than most places I've been in the the US do. (I'll admit that one time I was in super rural Tennessee that it also felt quite alien)

He looks great for his age but he's 80. He doesn't need a reason other than that.

Parliamentary systems with weaker heads of state tend to at very least allow a broader spread of parties and ideas to be represented.

I feel like people in these comments didn't read the article or listen to the direct statements. Its a super political non-committal statement. If you wanted him to make a commitment about it being genocide, sure, I'd have been happy with what Singh was pushing for, a strong stance of siding with whatever the ICJ decided. But lets be clear, this isn't a statement that whats going on isn't genocide. And, frankly, whether it is genocide or not is murky. I lean towards yes, but I'm not any sort of domain expert. The ethnic cleansing and apartheid arguments are much stronger.

Don't forget Spock, but young. (And actually Khan, but young too)

Game development can take years. If someone was already halfway into their game, and chose to finish it in Unity rather than throwing away a year+ of work, is doubly punishing them rather than actually punishing Unity.

A lot of people with adhd have bad memories. Well a certain kind of memory. Very easy to either forget where something is, or take it with you somewhere and forget you have and then leave it. I've lost so many coats that way.

100% agree that this is an ADHD thing. Doesn't happen to me as often as it seems to happens to you. But sometimes I'll be actively trying to pay attention to someone talking, and need to have them repeat themselves 3-4 times because the sound isn't becoming words.

People build housing to the specs their environment requires. The UK has extremely stable moderate temperatures so doesn't put the extra cost into insulation or central cooling.

This assumes they have inside knowledge (which maybe they do), but they could also just be guessing, I think everyone thinks its going to release in sept-nov this year.
