The One Piece Live Action worked well enough. You just have to capture the spirit and be willing to ditch things that look too silly on film.

While its likely true that the wing panel was both non-critical and secure, I'd be much more worried that if they missed something like that, that they could have missed any number of other things as well. Isn't there supposed to be some sort of check-list run?
It depends. Under Copenhagen, it's not. Under Multiworld, it is, and you are also part of that superposition.
Prime Spider-man (earth 616 Spider-Man) whatever you want to call it, is more or less universally depicted as having mechanical webshooters that he invented. The big exception is the Sam Raimi Spider-man movies from the early 2000's which is probably what confused you.
