I have already contributed my two cents on this before the exodus. If you tolerate these types of low effort bots here, you will kill the platform.

I don't really mind the lower traffic here. Seems like all the intelligence left the old building at once. Either that or I've forgotten just how trash it had become.

I know when we trialled going digital for fire response at my old company it was an absolute failure.
At least with analogue when there was interference from smoke or terrain, we could mostly get the gist of what had been said.
With digital it seemed to either work or not work, there was no in-between.
It was more akin to transmitting a short audio file or recording than a live communications medium. Not a single one of us thought it was an improvement on our existing system but of course they rolled it out anyway. Can't fight progress.

When I got in to the first Gmail beta I was singing their praises. I have remained staunchly pro-google with my technology decisions long after their search engine started towing political agendas and their "Don't be evil" tag was very much retired.
This might actually be the thing that pushes my android-loving ass to completely de-google my life.
I already use F-droid and Aurora for most of my apps. Pretty much the only things keeping me in their ecosystem at all are the backup components of google photos and android.
Ironically, to make the jump to Graphene OS I would have to give google money in the form of a handset purchase...that doesn't seem like a logical step in sending a fuck you to google.
