Find a better cause than this nothing burger. Literally nothing better to do but complain about some old discussion. God forbid you forgive and move on. No you said something that offended me years ago and I will not forgive such a terrible transgression. This 'look at me" posting is so tiring. Look at how great I am. Don't worry everyone I'll fall on the sword and call out the bad people.

https://www.onlyoffice.com/ may be an option. They have hosted plans but you can just use the office suite with local files for free if you don't need a yof the hosted offerings features

Because fuck Google and all these companies that profit on our personal data. They claim it is so they can better serve us but we are the slaves. Soon there will be matrix style jobs where yhe working class can trade their life to power the next gen AI for the elite class that the wealth gap has cultivated. They make things easy but it is time to do things the hard way. Digital revultion is upon us. Help those less capable to move off of the prying eyes of FAANG

Companies should be required to delete your data if you don't do business with them after a certain amount of time.
