Doing it over world wealth/population (454385÷8.2) gives 55,412 USD per capita, which tell how skewed is wealth in the US.

But energy efficiency is not always a challenge. See for example the vague nerve in giraffes, the appendix in humans or limbs in whales.

I wish this comment had more upvotes.

In the matter of reforming things, as distinct from deforming them, there is one plain and simple principle; a principle which will probably be called a paradox. There exists in such a case a certain institution or law; let us say, for the sake of simplicity, a fence or gate erected across a road. The more modern type of reformer goes gaily up to it and says, "I don't see the use of this; let us clear it away." To which the more intelligent type of reformer will do well to answer: "If you don't see the use of it, I certainly won't let you clear it away. Go away and think. Then, when you can come back and tell me that you do see the use of it, I may allow you to destroy it.

However it is a one sided approach. Sometimes there must also be an answer to "If you don't see the use of keeping it, I won't let you", e.g. radical mastectomy, conservatism.

I was out of context. It seems people are questioning Zelenskyy for not wearing a suit to the Trump/Vance scold. Came back to upvote.

Hypotheses range from a script for a natural language or constructed language, an unread code, cypher, or other form of cryptography, or perhaps a hoax, reference work (i.e. folkloric index or compendium), glossolalia[19] or work of fiction (e.g. science fantasy or mythopoeia, metafiction, speculative fiction).

Hi, I'm new to the world of usenet. I am on a 3 days trial period on nzbgeek which is very good but the trial is very limited (3 days, 15 nzb) I found out about nzbscout (really bad, only popular stuff) and wanted to know if there are some free indexers which are worth it. There's a reddit post with the following recommendations:

NZBindex - no limits, just a general search not the easiest to find things

Binsearch - no limits, just a general search not the easiest to find things

Nzbking - no limits but very hard to navigate and find what you want but they have very old stuff that nobody else does- my go to when others do not have content

Nzbfinder - limit of 5 per day for free I think, but they are solid.

Aznzb -25 per day limit for free ..not a very good database in my opinion though

Drunkenslug - limit of 5 per day.

I've tried Nzbfinder and they do are solid. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks!
