This is the correct take. Anyone who paid the least amount of attention to Snowden's revelations know that the USA harvests absolutely everything online. Americans have more to fear from their info being misused by their own government and the corporations that own it than by the Chinese. The push to ban TikTok is just an attempt to cut out the spying competition. And jingoistic Sinophobia.
Names can also be descriptions, I was using those words as a description, not as a reference to the band. (Of which I know nothing other than the name and their supposed confusion over magnets or some shit.) If they are anti-tRump they have that going for them at least.
Everyone assumes the empire is all-powerful, but they really are not. Mao called them a "paper tiger" 60 or 70 years ago. Vietnam, Afghanistan, Cuba and to some extent Iraq and others have all proven that resistance is not futile. With the insane clown posse taking power the world is not going to be quite as eager to back U.S. aggression, I hope.

Just think how fast it would move with AFFORDABLE electric vehicles and cheap solar panels to charge them. Instead we get tariffs and more oil/gas pipelines, and oppression of people trying to prevent the pipelines. That is Canada's response to global warming.
