I still like and trust Proton and won't be switching. They've built up enough good will. Hopefully they don't keep burning through it though. I'm still sour over the lack of feature parity, linux support, reliance on Google for notifications, etc.
"Oh, but then the price of my McDonald's cheeseburger will skyrocket!!" Fucking good
I don't know why people keep repeating this propaganda. Plenty of countries pay actual wages to their employees, don't have tipping, and the prices are still fucking cheaper than America.
I'm just worried a lack of content discovery, (foss) algorithms, other features and consistent development will have an adverse effect on this new growth. I'm glad that Dan finally got the apps on the stores at a critical moment though or we wouldn't even be here.
You either block them and die a liberal or you engage and observe and live long enough to start spreading their agitprop and using your new pronoun "comrade" as you lead the way to glorious revolution.
(Seriously though, they're just people on a leftist political instance. You'll get the good, bad, and weird, same as any other place).
Honestly I'll still be using Proton and recommending it because it's just good and a net benefit for everyone, but goddammit Andy you should've taken Swiss neutrality to heart this time and not said anything.
transgenderism
At risk of going slightly off topic, trans people aren't an -ism. It's not an ideology, though transphobes love to frame it that way (not saying you are).
Your hubris is showing, Fuckerberg.
Their business was to index the entire internet. Now they practically are the internet. Don't be evil very much meant something beyond ads and imo it meant "don't fucking become Sauron"
