Maybe? So much of the story is wrapped up in perspective. It would definitely lose a lot in any adaptation.

4 is the weakest of the series imo, it does pick back up
First part as a movie, second part as a tabletop roleplaying setting
Curse of Chalion is my favorite fantasy novel, I'd love to see any of her stuff adapted well. I've read everything she's ever published.
