Retro shocklands! I’ve wanted these ever since they started doing retro reprints, they look amazing!
Totally agreed! It makes no sense from any other perspective other than $$$. Great that it’s in a standard set but was really hoping its next major print would be rare to make it affordable.

Unbelievably sad 😞 He contributed so so much to EDH and Magic in general, perhaps more than anyone else aside from MaRo/Garfield considering how impactful the format is. Dealt with a constant stream of criticism too despite all that.

It's wild to me that Bitterblossom is still a $20 card. Seems like every reprinting it goes up a bit then settles back down to this $20 mark. Sadly the special treatments probably aren't enough new copies to affect it much.
This is the kind of artwork I've felt the game has been missing for years! Iris Compiet is amazing, so happy to see (a lot of) cards from her and to start seeing this kind of fantasy/whimsical artwork again.

I think this very easily slots into UW soldiers and mono white humans in Standard. Big upgrade there.
Looking at these ramp decks both Atraxa and Archangel of Wrath are angels, I wonder if they’d play it too. Uncountable Atraxa seems scary.
