Yeah it reminds me a little bit of [[Monastery Mentor]] which is also Standard legal. This triggers on all spells but only after your first and only on your turn which kinda stinks.

I think it could really create an overwhelming board in the right deck, and maybe it goes into UW tempo in Standard as Mentors 5-X?

I hate to be lame but honestly yes I think so. There’s a level of goofiness where it becomes distracting and I think this is there for me at least 😕

Wow this seems awesome in Limited in an aggressive deck. 3/2 trample on turn 2 is great and if you’re swinging t2 it’s a bolt first.

Wow another absolute bomb in Limited. Most likely creates 12 power on the board on turn 6 and triggers on your attack that turn (so 13 power).

Also I’ve seen some questionable incidental reach before but this seems pretty far fetched! Is the idea she can swing her axe so high that justifies the reach?? Seems unnecessary.

Edit: did not see the Giant creature type! I withdraw my Reach questioning!

Am I reading this right that blinking your creatures or getting them back from something like Leyline Binding also triggers this?

So far all of the spoiled mounts are 2+ cmc but if we get cheaper ones a 3/3 haste on turn 2 that potentially ramps you is no joke.

Reminds me a bit of [[Smuggler’s Copter]] which is obviously way better but could create some similar play patterns with this.

AWESOME reprint! Loved this card a few years ago and I had no idea it had gotten to $40. Always love expensive reprints.
