Because nobody can make a platform and just leave it alone, it always has to grow and make profit. All of the apps we use to communicate should be a public service but that's totally utopic.

TIL I need to try this Arc thing out... but for now I use Brave, synced across all of my devices, perfection.

I made an account on feddit.de and I'm not even German (learning to be, though)

It's hard but not impossible, the thing with us as adults is people trust others less โ€” but like people are saying, go to activities and events and really just introduce yourself.

Do things that you're interested in and you'll meet others, there's a D&D night near me at a local games cafe that I've thought about going to for a while, stuff like that.

How long has it lasted? I can't wait to see what SS terrible domain management tools look like.

Yeah Duolingo is a great introduction but by far the best thing I've done is attend a real class and then, like you say, use Duolingo to reinforce what I've picked up in class.

Hats off to you for your notebook, that would definitely not work for me but I use Anki to make flashcard decks for this kind of thing, helps me absorb things a bit better โ€” I started doing some iTalki lessons too and then taking all the vocab from those and putting them in Anki, been a gamechanger.

Hello, i'm andrew and like many โ€” a reddit refugee. I'm a graphic designer and web developer who currently resides in the UK, but is planning on moving to Germany later this year. It feels nice to be looking around all of the different communities, my main focus at the moment is learning German.
