Plottwist in the finale: It turns out there really was a conspiracy after all. The alien Invasion happens unopposed while Scully is just annoyed and Mulder sits at home depressed and confused.

Perhaps more of a Miniseries. And the thing driving the plot would be not just the investigations but Mulders Struggle to rethink everything he belived in.

When David Lama, Hans Jörg Auer and Johnathan Rosskelly died in an Avalanche. They were the absolute best of the best in mountaineering, they had everything going for them and then suddenly it was over. Probably alot of people do this. I try and think of the worst possible outcomes a situation might lead to. The reasoning is that it must become less likely then. What are the odds that this exact thing that I just thought about comes true?

Occasional SYSK Listener here. I am baffled by the amount of new shows that pop up under the their Banner. Thematically these Shows are totally random and they only ever seem to get advertised for a very short period befor the next one takes their place. Are they just pumping out these shows hoping one is a hit and makes worth all the misses? How is this sustainable? Especially since they only ever seem to advertise their own networks Content?
