Same. It looks and feels like "my first flutter app". I switched to Thunder, which is also made with flutter, but is much more pleasant to use.

I've been using Thunder and it feels way more polished than Liftoff.

I'm using Thunder and first got an error page. Then I opened it in my browser and got an article titled "My Family and Other Globalizers | The call that all expat families dread...".

Looks like it's in the /site endpoint. The response has a my_user property that includes your followed communities in the follows property.

Also, ich hab das ganze so verstanden:

reddit = read it = lases lemmy = let me = lassmich

Föderiertes reddit wäre also eher fases oder föses.

I think this will only show communities from other instances if they have already been federated from there. So if no one on your instance has subscribed to a specific community, you won't find it in this search.
