This is one of my favorite models also. It will write well on thermal paper. I especially like how it'll write on wet paper, which is a big bonus if you do a lot of plumbing

I use a uniball power tank pen. It will write upside down, on thermal paper, and even on wet paper.
I use power tank pens. They are pressurized ink tank pens, like the space pen, but disposable.
Speed Queen is great stuff. It will last just about forever. When it does break it is built so it can be repaired.
I only know of three places in my larger metropolitan area that care about how the espresso tastes. The rest are all just serving milk-based drinks.
It also helps to dial in the espresso machine which a lot of places never do or they have a machine that is fully automatic
