I'd disagree, it doesn't really affect any given instance to not be consolidated as long as the federations remain because we can subscribe to them and they can subscribe to us. If anything, consolidation hurts more because of unrelated defederation.
No you see, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is democratic right? It's in the name. So Reddit clearly it cause Steve claims it is. After all, why would a ~~dictator~~ right and just leader lie?
That won't stop the trolls, now they'll just create burners on beehaw itself. They are hurting innocents to do exactly nothing.
I guess that's the slight downside of the game sharing the name with a genre.
Well, it's not that the game is sharing the name with the genre, it's that the games created the genre. It's like Roguelikes are all based on the game Rogue.
Additionally, they can just attach themselves to other instances anyways. It's impossible to stop them unless you make yourself an island and make it beyond hellish to sign up. Meanwhile you've affected the 99.9% of good people on that instance by cutting them off. It just doesn't make sense to me.
