that can be gamed like most a/b experiments. just keep measuring and adjust your metrics and time window until you get the results you want. doesn't matter if 99% of the time you would have reached the opposite conclusion.

It's quite unfortunate that even though people are not getting karma they still share garbage because they know it will be popular.

It would show that the current safety protocols are inadequate and unless they are improved any future and ongoing research on gain of function or anything close to bioweapons is putting mankind at risk. It’s important to keep a historical perspective and remember how many doctors died treating ebola even though they used ppe.

If you want android you'd normally go with a phone that is supported by the main contributors /maintainers. doesn't even have to be made by google. but I think that was already pretty clear so you might just be a contrarian. please correct me if you actually had a point.

they had a chance but decided to self sabotage . they have no chance now that they are using android. who would pick them over the real version?

you might be right but some numbers might back up your claim. I doubt that servers could heat water as much as a nuclear reactor. datacenter coolers certainly don't have to pressurize the water to prevent it from boiling, it doesn't get that hot.

It would give them time to stop offering services and degrade a few since competitors are under the same pressure.

What how where and when

if you believe that knowledge comes from collaboration with colleagues and friends you should be content with that knowledge and not covet something that according to you doesn't even exist , i.e. propietary knowledge and trade secrets.

ask yourself where does knowledge come from. if you can put yourself in a position where you actually generate knowledge you might gain an appreciation for the efforth it takes.

Start by not taking things for granted and try to see the world from a causal perspective. It also helps to be objective so be aware of your biases. Studying history can also provide you a broader understanding.

Knowledge needs to be created. profit is a good motivator. removing it is harmful. you need to take a broader view and consider how the knowledge you want to be shared is createdin the first place instead of taking it for granted.
