I think pact testing means contract testing, basically a test that asserts an agreement between two things (microservice, backend, frontend, etc)

I have never actually managed to get it integrated, but I have always pushed for contract testing that's maintained by both sides of the contract. This has the benefit of being able to create compatibility matrixes between services at the very least

pretty sick fence, how long did that take to make? did you just find the material or buy it?

I was already on the fediverse, though I still use reddit for some stuff, I probably will only post here and use reddit read-only from now on though. I did the same with twitter awhile back and now I just don't read twitter.

On a slight tangent I also found on the fediverse I get more engagement than on twitter or whatever, so I really never found it hard to move. While on twitter you might blow up and end up in the news (if you think thats a good thing lol), the fediverse your more likely to get actual engagement but your less likely to end up on the news. Though sometimes now you do! Which is weird lol.

i could live with this tbh

I am not sure I agree entirely with this, while I do think there should be third party clients, we have entered the age where allowing API access is giving free reign to very valuable LLMs to train on your data, which also IMO violates your users privacy. I think it's better to have it be gratis but not libre, perhaps some kind of app approval process or some such.

What is readhacker.news? Why not just use the news.ycombinator link anyway

I got this one for "free" via PSN and it was okay, not really my thing (even though I like roguelikes, I didn't like this)

I found dicey dungeons to be good, and fights in tight spaces is okay, but probably a bit mid.

Been playing BOTW but also XCOM 2 and the roguelike deckbuilders bundle from Humble Bundle recently. Loving the steamdeck so much.
