A 'dispute' is when both parties have genuine complaints and are able to be negotiated with. Trump's starting a trade war for no reason, so doing nothing only serves to normalize his actions.
While sharing content is good, perhaps for future posts a digital source discussing the same news story could be linked-to instead?
You also don't seem to be marking the language of your posts before submitting them, though that's more understandable given that most Lemmy frontends don't seem to be developed with multilingual posting in mind.
If anyone else wanted to filter out non-English posts from their All feed, post URL regex filters seem to work well (though depends on Lemmy frontend support).
For this community, the syria\.tv
and (?<!english\.)enabbaladi\.net
filters worked for me.
In regex, the \ character removes any special meaning from the character after it (. is a regex wildcard character), while ?<!english\.
ensures that any enabbaladi.net post URL with 'english.' at the start (i.e. an English language article) is not caught by a simple enabbaladi\.net
filter.
I guess when their teeth start falling out they'll just say that it's god's will for them to have less teeth. 🙄
Seems like the new spam technique is sending it as an image rather than text:
Russia doesn't have peace intentions, making helping Ukraine at every turn the only rational option.
Privacy and security isn't an all-or-nothing matter though. While a Pixel running GrapheneOS would indeed be more secure privacy-wise than an iPhone, not only would one have to be willing to do without a digital wallet, among other features that unfortunately have telemetry injected into them, but would still depend on the user not installing any of the common apps that would harvest data, even on a de-Googled phone.
"You can't sell them until I've flooded the market with all my shares first!" -fElon, probably
Apple disabled the feature in the UK because the alternative, per the British government, was to add a backdoor to it.
RT is a Russian propaganda outlet, full stop.
Apple charges unreasonably high profit margins on its products as its primary business model, along with locking down their ecosystem to push overpriced subscriptions to the detriment of competitors, to not need the same level of invasive data collection that powers Google's advertising business.
As long as corporate news outlets and social media platforms continue to control the narrative, they can spin stories in Trump's favor to keep his approval rating artificially high as he plunges the country into despotic wreck and ruin.
Somewhat of a clickbait title, but hopefully the bug gets fixed all the same. 👍
