Yes. Even when I know what the limits are, and why, the thing lulls you into responding as if it were a conscious agent. The downside of the way it produces speech.

Yup, exactly what I experienced too.

Thumbs up! I like it.

As always, the limits of tolerance are met when it comes to suggesting we tolerate intolerance. The boundary must be set there.

I still haven't figured out what 'spirituality' is supposed to mean. It's a word used in so many vague, fuzzy, and often contradictory ways that it seems to be basically meaningless. Mostly it seems it's used as a rough synonym for 'emotion', usually the emotions of awe and wonder. So sure, I agree that healthy emotions are good for our mental health. That is unsurprising.

I just watched 12 Angry Men (1957) for the first time and it is incredible.

Absolutely. It's a timeless masterpiece in my opinion.

...and now it's there with the new update! Nice!

Thanks, I'll take a look and give this a try.

Edit: Looks like the subscribed communities dropdown has been added to the latest version of mlmym so perhaps I won't need it on the old.lemmy.* sites

Holy crap that was fast!!! And it now has the 'My communities' dropdown, which makes it much better! Thanks!!

The latest version of mlmym includes the subscribed commuunities dropdown in the top bar. Can mlmym be updated to this version, please? The lack of access to one's subscribed communities makes it borderline unusable atm despite how much I like it.

I have a bot to help bring in more content. Images, videos, and other links posted on Reddit are being crossposted here. Don't worry, each will only appear once, and text only posts are not being crossposted.

Feel free to discuss this content at will in the relevant posts. If you want to give suggestions, tell me this is a horrible idea, or have other thoughts and opinions on this, post your thoughts here in this thread.

I came across this one on userstyles.world and didn't see it referenced here. It's probably the most 'old reddit' looking of all of the one's I've seen so far.

An odd issue. I've noticed that while on lemmy.ca some thumbnails seem to show up but way less than when directly on other lemmy instances, even when in the same community.

Is there some issue here? Or maybe some setting to show or not show thumbnails, either in the instance software or in the user settings?

To the surprise of absolutely nobody in the hockey world, Calgary Flames GM Craig Conroy has hired his long time friend Jarome Iginla as a 'Special Advisor to the GM.'

Iginla will continue to work as a coach this year in Kelowna and perform his Advisory duties on a part time basis.

Welcome back to the NHL, Jarome.
